Shelley McGill

First Term: March 4, 2022 to March 3, 2025

Shelley McGill is a policy and law professor at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University. She holds law degrees from the University of Western Ontario and York University. Professor McGill has served in a variety of administrative positions at Laurier including director of the BBA program and associate dean of undergraduate business programs. Her teaching and research focus on business law and consumer protection and she has published more than 20 academic journal articles and a leading business law textbook. Professor McGill is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and a deputy judge of the Ontario Small Claims Court. Prior to joining Laurier, she was a partner with Sims Clement Eastman.
